Hi, my name is Megan Behnke. I’m 24 years old and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2020 at the height of the COVID pandemic with a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Multimedia Journalism. I’m from Sun Prairie, WI. I have a mom, dad, two older sisters, and two dog.
I have been passionate about writing ever since I was little. Here, you will find published works from my time at The Clarion newspaper at Madison College and the Advance-Titan at UWO, as well as professional some professional works.
Along with writing, I am also passionate about pop culture and hope to turn my passions and dedications to become an entertainment journalist.
I had an editorial internship at the celebrity/gossip website CollegeCandy.com where I wrote over 80 stories from March-September 2019. Currently I serve as a writer and editor for Nerds and Beyond, a freelance TV news writer at CinemaBlend and a freelance news writer for ComicBook Resources. I am always looking for more work, remote or on location.
